Pawna Dam, Pawnanagar
Pawna Dam was established in 1972. When Pavna Dam is planned to construct over Pawna River About 2500 acres of land was under the Irrigation Department of Maharashtra.
The farmers living there rain water was the main source for farming. This had caused several droughts in Pawnanagar Region. after detailed survey conducted in the region and Maval Tehshil identified for the construction of Dam.
Construction work of Pawana Dam Is began in 1964 also It was under stay for a year due to India-Pak war in 1965. The Dam was completed in 1972.
Pavana Dam Is Beside Pawnanagar village. about 110 km from Mumbai via kamshet and 50 km from Pune via kamshet

The setting at Pawna Lake is made beautiful with the presence of various tourist attractions like Lohagad Fort, Tikona Fort, Tung Fort, and Visapur Fort. Its refreshing ambiance makes this place a beautiful destination near Lonavala and Khandala to enjoy an idyllic weekend.
About the Activity:

Begin your Pawna camping experience by checking in on day 1 by 4 PM and end by 11 AM the next day morning.

The location of the campsite is in Kamshet, just 30 Km from Lonavala Railway station.

Local transports are easily available from Lonavala and Kamshet, from their respective Railway station and Bus stand.

Avail accommodation in comfortable tents that shall be allocated on a double/triple sharing basis with mattresses, pillows, and blankets to ensure utmost comfort.

The campsite is situated just 15-20 steps away from the lake.

Camp site Description
The campsite was located near the banks of Pawna Lake. The campsite offers brilliant scenic views of the waters and the mountains around and Pawna Dam. Enjoy a lit bonfire with BBQ and music in the evening. You can enjoy volleyball, carrom, and many other activities. Experience lakeside camping with all the meals.

This package includes camping and sightseeing around the campsite. You can also enjoy outdoor games available at the campsite. Enjoy bonfire at the campsite.
